The Executive Director, Dr Adefunke Ekine, was a guest at Kings FM to commiserate the International Day of the African Child. She discussed the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown on children, and their education. Dr Ekine recommended the use of the internet, and various media outlets such as televisions and radios, to facilitate the education of children during the pandemic. She stated that if children were opportuned to learn everyday via this mediums, it would greatly benefit the nation’s educational system.
