The youth are the future of every society, and as Franklin D. Roosevelt once said “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future” As an organization, we strongly believe in fortifying the future, hence our dedication to empowering the youths with leadership, social and entrepreneural skills.

Meet Miss Olajumoke Ajayi, the daughter of a petty trader who along with her brother joined the Ycdei mentorship program last year. The program which comprises of classes in leadership, etiquette and vocational skills helped Miss Ajayi begin her baking business, which a YcDEI board member then helped grow by providing the necessary equipments, as well as finacial aid. Alongside Jumoke, are many other youths who have been equipped with all round skills needed to thrive now and in the future.

To create greater impact and enrich the lives of even more youths, YcDEI plans to begin her second mentorship class in August 2021.
