As part of Youthcare’s support for student and teacher education, the Executive Director Dr. Adefunke Ekine along with the Communication Officer Miss Busayo Oyekunle paid a visit to Mentoring Assistance for Youths and Entrepreneurs Initiative (MAYEIN) on Saturday the 21st of August 2021. The visit afforded the opportunity to experience MAYEIN’s Teacher’s Hub, an interface for the building and empowering of teachers in the community. With teachers already registering, YcDEI was proud to sponsor two public school teachers as beneficiaries of the initiative.
This visit also created an avenue to share our research findings, along with the training manuals specially designed for pupils and teachers, with the US Consulate Team visiting from Lagos. We look forward to more avenues, as we continue to fight Gender-Based Violence in our communities and improving the learning outcome of the vulnerable.
