The fourth phase of the YcDEI Institutional Strengthening Workshop was held on Friday 17th February 2023. This session which was anchored by a seasoned mental health expert, Ms. Mofiyinfoluwa Ola was very interactive and informative. Participants were given the opportunity to ask a lot of questions. The session dealt deeply with Mental Health and the myths and facts about mental well-being. Several myths and stigmas surrounding mental health were debunked during this session. The facilitator explained that Mental Health is the state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make contributions to his or her community. Participants were also taught how to manage their time effectively and profitably to prevent frequent burnout.
