During the International Women’s Day 2024 celebration themed “Inspire Inclusion,” YCDEI, brought together teachers from twenty different schools in both public and private primary and secondary education sectors in Oyo State, Nigeria, to participate in an event at our office where they were privileged to have the duo of Dr. Mrs. Oyeteju Odufuwa a seasoned lecturer at the University of Ibadan and Pastor Adesola Adesokan an experienced Social Worker, share with them insights on “The role of teachers as facilitators” offering fascinating tips on how to make their classes more engaging for learners and the responsibility of teachers in driving societal changes.
During the session, our highly esteemed Executive Director, Dr. Adefnke Ekine, outlined strategies for goal setting and achievement.
The session was highly interactive, with valuable lessons to empower all attendees as 21st-century educators.
